CRUMLIN STAR 1 - 1 BALLYWALTER REC

The firsts season came to a dissappointing end when they were held to a 1-1 draw at home to Ballywalter Rec. The result means that the Star finished 2 points behind Shankill Utd after failing to get the 3 points that would have forced a playoff for the title. Star goal was scored by Bricky(penalty) and despite having most of the possession the Star could not find a winning goal. Well done to Shankill Utd and good luck in 1B. Its still been a good season for the firsts and club overall this season with the first team winning the Cochrane & Corry Cup, having a great run in the Clarence Cup beating the likes of Newington and Comber in the competition and narrowly missing out on the title and the second team winning 3C. Well done to all the players who played this year.
