Thompson in goal had little to deal with, while McNally and Osbourne worked hard up front. Fernando Murphy turned back the years with a superb performance on the right side of midfield with Hamilton and Mark Mooney in the central midfield roles, Ciaran Cairns took up the left wing role and worked continusoulsy to push for the star opener. The opening goal came from Fernando Murphy when he calmly slipped the ball the out stretched keeper.
