CRUMLIN STAR II  5 - 1 DRUMANESS MILLS II

The seconds stayed top of the league with a good win against a young Drumaness side. The seconds started slowly and it was Drumaness who nearly opened the scoring after their forward broke free however a good save from Hamiliton kept the scores level. Star began playing more and were starting to dominate and it wasn't long before they went 1-0 up when F.Murphy played a brilliant ball to S.Murray in behind the defence and he squared it to Osboure to make it 1-0. Star made it 2-0 shortly after Doran broke the offside trap and cooly chipped the keeper from 20 yards to double Star's advantage. H/T 2-0

Star started the second half slowly as well and Drumaness had a few chances however Hamiliton made a few good saves. Star went 3-0 ahead on the hour mark when Osboure cooly volleyed into the bottom corner from 14 yards. It was 4-0 soon after when Mc Nally skinned 3 defenders and beat the goalkeeper with a low shot. Star had more chances with Mc Neill and Cairns going close. Star eventually made it 5 when Cairns shot beat the keeper. Drumaness did get a late consolation and their forward scored from close range. F/T 5-1
