                                           Star win the league again!
                                                                                 

 

                                                                                    Crumlin Star 8-1 Santos


On Saturday the Star played second placed Santos with the chance of winning the title at hand. In a total one sided game the Ardoyne side dominated from start to finish as they were determined to win back to back titles in 2A. First half goals from Nellis & Hawkins put the Star well on track for the win they craved. And once Whelan added a third at the start of the second period the flood gates opened. Paul Brown bagged himself a brace with Nial Hawkins & Dam Whelan also netting themselves a double also, Sean O Reilly and Seamy Nellis where the other scorers.
