The Star broke the deadlock midway through the first half when Paul Brown nodded home a Dam Whelan corner. Both teams where reduced to ten men when tempers began to flair. The Star had chances to add to their lead but where wasteful in front of goal. The second period was more of an even affair with both sidecancelling each other out. Ford scored an equaliser right at the death to snatch a draw from the Star.
Crumlin Star 3-1 Albion Star On Saturday it was another West Belfast side for the Star to entertain as Albion Star came to Mallusk for a league game with the Star. In the first half an hour the Star should've been at least three goals to the good as the home side missed a host of excellent chances. Paul Brown finally got the break through towards half time when he scored from a free kick. Anto Braniff made it 2-0 to the Star not long after the restart when he got on the end of a Hamilton cross. Albion halved the deficit late on to make it a nervous last few minutes for the Star but Braniff got his second of the day late on to seal the points for the Ardoyne side.
Crumlin Star 5-1 Iveagh United The Star played their eighth game in fourteen days on Tuesday when the faced Iveagh at Mallusk. Iveagh took a shock lead early on after a mistake from Thompson but the Star responded well and found themselves 2-1 up within ten minutes after Paul Brown & Joe Gormley got on the score sheet. Again Missed chances where the only disappointment for the Star as a host of players missed all sorts of chances. Gormley finally made it 3-1 to the Star on the hour and not long later Paul Brown made it four when he calmly dinked the ball over the stranded keeper. Sean O'Reilly got a rare goal late on when he curled the ball into the bottom corner to make it 5-1 to the Star.
